The Experience

This is not your
typical dance class

Flow State draws from conscious dance, ecstatic dance, and movement meditation — but goes deeper. It is a somatic experience that moves through layered dimensions of awareness: from the felt sense of the body, through the currents of emotion, into the space between you and others.

Each session is a guided journey. You will be led through body awareness and proprioception — learning to feel yourself in space. Through interoception and emotional sensing — tuning into the subtle signals your body holds. Through relational presence — moving with and alongside others in ways that feel authentic and alive.

This is not performance. There is no choreography to memorize. Flow State is about integration: weaving together sensation, feeling, story, and connection into a practice that changes how you inhabit your body long after the music fades.

The Layers

What You'll Experience

Each session moves through six dimensions of somatic awareness, building from the inside out.

Body Awareness & Proprioception

Feel yourself in space. Rediscover the intelligence of your muscles, joints, and bones. Learn to sense where your body is — and where it wants to go — without looking.

Interoception & Emotional Awareness

Tune into the interior landscape. Notice the warmth, the tightness, the pulse of feeling that lives beneath the surface. Let the body speak what the mind cannot name.

Somatic Awareness

Move beyond thinking about the body into being the body. Somatic awareness is the felt sense of aliveness itself — the hum, the weight, the breath that animates every gesture.

Relational Awareness

Feel the space between you and another person. Sense proximity, rhythm, intention. Move together without words — discovering trust, boundary, and resonance through the body.

Story-Driven Relational Movement

Let narrative arise from motion. Move through scenes, archetypes, and emotional landscapes with others — creating meaning not through words, but through shared embodied experience.

Balance & Harmony Pathways

Discover practical, embodied pathways to bring balance and harmony into your daily life. These are not concepts to understand — they are patterns to feel and carry with you.

The Practice

How We Move

I

Balance Drills

Grounding exercises and balance work that train your vestibular system and root you into the present moment. When the body finds balance, the mind follows — steadiness becomes something you carry off the floor.

II

Big Movement

Permission to take up more space. Expansive gestures, sweeping arcs, full-body expression. We practice being larger than we allow ourselves to be — reclaiming the physical volume of our aliveness.

III

Training Timing

Syncing with the rhythms of life. We train our sense of timing — when to move, when to pause, when to meet another in motion. This is the practice of being in touch with the cadence that runs through everything.

Who This Is For

You don't need to
be a dancer

Flow State welcomes all bodies and all levels of experience. There is no wrong way to move. If you have a body and a willingness to listen to it, you belong here.
